Marsaxlokk FC secured the services of Brazilian twenty nine year old forward Marcelo Barros Santos.
Marcelo Santos started his career at Cruzeiro EC and went on to play for SC Corinthians, GE Anápolis and Ipatinga FC and Clube do Remo before moving to Portugal where he played for AD Fafe, Berço SC, Merelinense FC, Oriental Dragon FC and AD Sanjoanense before joining Zabbar St. Patrick last summer.
The Southseasiders, who have confirmed Enzo Potenza as their coach, had earlier signed goalkeepers Christopher Mafoumbi and Pablo Sanchez, Enrico Pepe, Triston Caruana, Weder Silva and Oualid El Hasni. On the other hand, Karl Micallef, Ryan Scicluna, Duane Bonnici, Lucas Lopez and Yuri Messias moved elsewhere.
