Naxxar Lions FC signed Brazilian twenty eight year old central defender Gustavo Felipe de Campos Gonçalves.
Gustavo Felipe played for Ponte Preta, Foz do Iguacu, Batel, Almirante Barroso and Veranopolis before a spell with Sport Loreto in Peru. He returned to Brazil and played for Internacional and Inter Limeira and Porto Vitoria, moving to Bahrain where he played for Sitra, Al-Najma and Bahrain SC.
The Lions, who have confirmed George Vella as their coach, had earlier signed Neto, Sekala Guehi, Diego, Christian Gauci, Mike Hudson, Deisler Agius, Felippe Bugeja and Jayden Fenech while confirming Matthias Debono, Edward Bolanos, Joao Moura, Giuseppe Bonanno and Mattias Micallef with Mark Fenech returning to the club after a spell on loan.
