Lija Athletic and Kirkop United secured a spot in Phase 2 of the Malta FA Jubilee Cup Phase 1 as they registered wins on Sunday.
In a match from the North Region, Lija Athletic defeated San Gwann 3-0 at the Sirens Stadium thanks to goals by Ross McParland on 55 minutes, Jhanluis Hernandez on 77 minutes and Juan Ruiz on 94 minutes.
The other two teams to qualify from the North Region are Attard and Victoria Hotspurs.
From the South Region, Kirkop United defeated Xghajra Tornados 3-0 in another match at the Sirens Stadium. Miguel Zammit put Kirkop ahead on 19 minutes. James Oghenekewaro doubled the score thanks to a penalty five minutes later and two minutes from time, Daylen Trakosopoulos sealed the issue with a third goal.
Qormi and Senglea Athletic are the other two teams to qualify from the South Region.
Malta Veterans qualified from the Member Associations.
