Zurrieq qualified for the Round of 32 of the Malta FA Jubilee Cup as they defeated Qormi 3-2 in a match from the Preliminary Round at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
Jhoel Adrian Sarraude put Zurrieq ahead on 26 minutes but Innocent John Awori equalised on 32 minutes. Jonathan onney restored the lead one minute from the end of the first half and although Cadu levelled matters thanks to a penalty on 70 minutes, Monney scored teh winning goal nine minutes from time.
In the next round, Zurrieq will be facing Vittoriosa Stars.
