Adolphus Nagbe Marshall put Fgura ahead on 23 minutes and Dylan Caruana doubled the score four minutes in the second half. Kurt Briffa pulled one back on 56 minutes.

David Oliveira put Birzebbuga ahead on 7 minutes and although Mtarfa equalised courtesy of Tristen Sultana a minute later, it took the Saints another minute to regain the lead thanks to another goal by Oliveira. alex Bruno made it 3-1 on 16 minutes and Paul Lapira added another on 41 minutes. Four minutes in the second half, Francisco Arriagada scored a second goal for Mtarfa but Lapira scored on 65 and 75 minutes and Oliveira scored another two goals on 69 and 87 minutes.
