Victoria Hotspurs and Pembroke Athleta are the first two semi-finalists of the BOV Amateur Cup as they registered wins in the quarter-finals at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.
Victoria Hotspurs came from behind to beat Kirkop United 3-1.
James Oghenekewaro put Kirkop ahead on 11 minutes but Wagner equalised on 20 minutes and nine minutes later, Ferdinando Apap made it 2-1 for the Hotspurs. Rondinely sealed the issue with a third goal three minutes from time.
In another match, Pembroke Athleta defeated Xghajra Tornados 2-0.
Weverton Gomes put Pembroke ahead on 74 minutes and Malcolm Vella Vidal doubled the score three minutes in added time.
