Mqabba returned to winning ways as they defeated Qrendi 4-1 in a match from the BOV Amateur League I at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Tuesday.
Andres Tenorio put Mqabba ahead on 41 minutes and doubled the score three minutes in the second half. Luka Mijic made it 3-0 on 57 minutes and Luca Bugeja added another on 64 minutes. Godwin Emmanuel pulled one back on 78 minutes.
Attard lead the way with 21 points, followed by Mqabba on 19, Qrendi and Qormi on 18, Lija 17, Victoria and San Gwann 16, Zejtun 13, Pembroke and Mellieha 11, Xghajra 10, Kirkop 9, Luqa 7 and Senglea 4.
