A brace by Cadu handed Qormi a 2-0 win over Kirkop United in a match from the BOV Amateur League I at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.
Cadu put Qormi ahead on 64 minutes and doubled the score on 86 minutes.
Mqabba defeated Zejtun Corinthians 3-1 in another match. Andres Tenorio put Mqabba ahead on 33 minutes and although Stefi Cale equalised just before the end of the first half, goals by Luka Mijic on 46 minutes and Andres Tenorio on 48 minutes handed Mqabba the three points.
Attard and Qormi lead the way with 24 points, followed by Mqabba on 22, Victoria 19, Qrendi 18, Lija and San Gwann 17, Zejtun 13, Pembroke and Mellieha 11, Xghajra 10, Kirkop 9, Luqa 7 and Senglea 4.
