Victoria Hotspurs moved to just two points behind leaders Attard in the BOV Amateur League I as they defeated Zejtun Corinthians 1-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday.
Christian Saint Ebisindor scored the all-important goal on 22 minutes.
Attard lead the way with 40 points, followed by Victoria on 38, Lija 36, Qormi 34, Mqabba 30, Qrendi 25, San Gwann 22, Zejtun 19, Pembroke and Xghajra 18, Senglea 16, Mellieha 15, Kirkop and Luqa 14.
