Leaders Attard extended the lead on top the BOV Amateur League I after defeating neighbours 3-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.
Staline Degabriele put Attard ahead on the hour. Precious Uchechukwu Nwankwo doubled the score on 63 minutes and although Isaac Buhagiar reduced the gap on 88 minutes, Nwankwo sealed the issue with another goal three minutes in added time.
Attard the Charles Abela Stadium, Zejtun Corinthians and San Gwann shared the spoils in a 11 draw, goals by Kevin Tulimieri for Zejtun on 47 minutes and Gonzalo Virano on 58 minutes.
