The Malta Under-19 side ended its commitments in Group B4 of the UEFA Under-19 Championship 2026/27 Round 1 League B with a 0-4 defeat to Luxembourg at the Stadiumi Niko Dovana in Durres on Tuesday. This was therefore the third defeat in as many matches.
Jess Gomes Rodrigues put Luxembourg ahead eight minutes from the end of the first half. Alexandre Tavares dos Santos doubled the score three minutes in the second half. Scott Welter made it 3-0 on 63 minutes and Jona Polfer added another two minutes from time.
