Birkirkara scored deep in stoppage time to kick-off their YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round Bottom 6 commitments with a win over Zabbar St. Patrick at the National Stadium on Saturday.
Thanks to this win, Birkirkara move six points clear of Zabbar, ten ahead of Tarxien and twelve ahead of Mosta before the clash between the latter two later on Saturday.
Birkirkara scored the all-important goal five minutes in added time when off a Jan Busuttil corner, substitute Roni Santos headed the ball home past goalkeeper Ignacio Colombo.
