Melita are the first finalists of the BOV Challenge Cup as they came from behind to beat Xewkija Tigers 3-1 in the first semi-final at the Gozo Stadium on Saturday.
Ian Xuereb put Xewkija ahead on 6 minutes but Alan Borg Olivier equalised four minutes later. Kevin Moreno put Melita ahead on 21 minutes and Eric Mensah converted a penalty four minutes in added time.
In the other semi-final, in programme on Sunday, Birzebbuga St. Peter’s will be facing SK Victoria Wanderers.
