Birzebbuga St. Peter’s will be facing Melita in the final of the BOV Challenge Cup after defeating SK Victoria Wanderers 2-1 after extra-time in the second semi-final at the Gozo Stadium on Sunday.
Ender Alvarez put the Wanderers ahead twelve minutes in the second half but Duvan Mosquera equalised on 71 minutes. With the score still draw, the match went into extra-time and Daniel Zerafa notched the winner in the last minute of the second half of extra-time.
