The first final of the women’s championship delivered an exciting spectacle, full of intensity and nonstop action from start to finish. Zero Sei Futsal were playing their third final of the season, but this time they faced a strong challenge from Luxol Argus.
Zero Sei took the lead early on through a free kick by Robles. The same player continued her impressive performance by scoring her second goal, giving her team a two-goal advantage.
Luxol Argus responded with determination, applying constant pressure. A superb long-range free kick from Zarb Cousin reduced the deficit, and their sustained attacking play paid off when Grech found the equaliser.
However, in the closing stages of the match, and perhaps due to excessive enthusiasm from Luxol, Robles stepped up once again to complete her hat-trick, scoring shortly after Zero Sei had conceded the equaliser.
From that moment on, Zero Sei maintained control. Although the match remained balanced, they managed to extend their lead through Csik, sealing an important victory.
The final score of 4-2 in favour of Zero Sei gives them a crucial advantage ahead of the second final on May 16. A win would crown them champions, while a victory for Luxol Argus would force a decisive third match.
