Saliou Thioune re-joins Hamrun Spartans

Twenty two year old forward Serigne Saliou Mbacke Thioune will be playing once again for Hamrun Spartans.

Saliou Thioune started his career at Cittadella in Italy but then moved to Switzerland where he was on the books of Yverdon Sport, FC Paradiso and FC Locarno. He joined Hamrun last summer but in January moved to Belarus where he played for ML Vitebsk and Naftan Novopolotsk.

The Spartans, who have appointed Stefano Sanderra as their new coach, had earlier signed Jake Grech, Ante Ćorić, Marcelo, Lucas Villela, Jack Ipalibo, Tobias Bjørnstad, Emmanuel Ernest and Messie Biatoumoussoka and renewed the contracts of Emerson Marcelina and Rafael Compri while confirming the departure of Henry Bonello and Joseph Mbong apart from Jonny, Mouad El Fanis, Blessing Eleke, Ivan Inzoudine and Michele Carboni.
