Floriana aim for positive result in Kosovo as they target third qualifying round spot

Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round at home, Floriana FC will be aiming for another positive result as they face FC Drita in the second leg at the Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri in Pristina on Tuesday, kick-off at 20:00.

The Greens need a win to qualify for the next round as a draw would mean that the two teams would go to extra-time and eventually penalties. It would definitely be no easy task for Daniel Portela’s side as Drita would be all out to claim victory in their bid to advance further in the competition after making it to the league stage last season and reaching the knock-out stage. Floriana, on the other hand, never made it that further, their best achievement being reaching the third qualifying round in 2020 when they were eliminated on penalties by Flora Tallinn of Estonia.

The winner of this tie will be facing SS Tre Fiori of San Marino in the third qualifying round.
