Sliema Wanderers secured the services of thirty three year old Belgian winger Anthony Limbombe Ekango.
Throughout his career, Limbombe played for KV Mechelen, KRC Genk, Lierse SK, Club Brugge and SK Beveren in Belgium, NEC Nijmegen and Almere City in the Netherlands, FC Nantes in France, Ironi Kiryat Shmona in Israel and Akritas Chloraka in Cyprus..
The Wanderers had earlier appointed Branko Nisevic as their new coach and signed Henry Bonello, Teddy Teuma, Alex Satariano Vlatko Drobarov, Nigel Robertha, Diego Camara and Brian Gambarte.
