Newly-promoted Birzebbuga St. Peter’s continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of twenty three year old Italian defender Mattia Santi and twenty four year old Bosnian-Croat forward Stipe Tokić.
Santi played for Padova, Este and United Borgoricco Campetra while Tokic played for NK Siroki Brijeg, HNK Capljina in Bosnia Herzegovina, NK Dugopolje and HRNK Zmaj Makarska in Croatia, Budoni and Sassari Latte Dolce in Italy.
The newly-promoted side have confirmed Edgar Degabriele as their coach and had earlier announced the signing of Alessandro Coppola, Jackson Mendoza, Yuri Messias, Shaun Dimech, Kurt Bondin, Rasmus Thellufsen, Daishawn Redan, Sam Azimzadeh Tabrizi, Pietro Tomaselli and goalkeeper Matteo Chiesa. Alex Bruno, Miguel Azzopardi, Jacob Walker, Juan Bolanos, Zachary Cassar, Matthew Xuereb, Hubert Vella Genovese, Daniel Zerafa and goalkeeper Julian Azzopardi were confirmed while Charles Chibueke, William James England, Duvan Mosquera, Jamie Scerri, Chris Baker, Joey Reno Vella, Leo Agius, Randall Vella, Paul Lapira and goalkeeper James Pisani were not retained.
