Rabat Ajax scored four in each half to beat neighbours Mdina Knights 8-0 in one of two matches from the BOV National League II in programme on Sunday at the Sirens Stadium on Sunday.
Cadu put the Magpies ahead on 5 minutes and then doubled the score on 19 minutes. Ryan Tonna made it 3-0 on 31 minutes and four minutes later, Innocent John Awori scored a fourth goal. Cadu scored again two minutes in the second half and Aaron Sammut Steer scored Rabat’s sixth on 62 minutes. Calvin Camilleri made it 7-0 on 74 minutes and Julian Suzuki added another three minutes from time for Jesmond Zammit’s side.
Kirkop United, on the other hand, defeated Msida St. Joseph 3-1. Andres Tenorio put Kirkop ahead on 8 minutes and Ayrton Buhagiar doubled the score on 36 minutes. Bydasser Sammut pulled one back three minutes later but an own goal on 66 minutes restored a two-goal lead for Kirkop.
