Victoria Hotspurs registered a second win in the BOV Challenge League as they came from behind to defeat Zurrieq 2-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.
Wyatt Jon Harding put Zurrieq ahead on 26 minutes but Thiago Nonato equalised before the end of the first half. Kyle Sciberras Balbi notched the winner four minutes from time.
Vittoriosa Stars defeated Gudja United 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium thanks to goals by Sergio Mosquera on 8 minutes and Steven Schembri six minutes from time.
Fgura United and Sirens shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, goals by Luke Anthony Borg for Sirens on 20 minutes and a Bruno Souza penalty for Fgura on 62 minutes.
In another match, Mgarr United defeated Melita 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium. Bjorn Buhagiar put Mgarr ahead on 11 minutes and Rayvian Job doubled the score eleven minutes later. Benjamin Cassar pulled one back on 69 minutes.
