Birzebbuga St. Peter’s and Mosta shared the spoils in a goalless draw in the opening match from the VBET Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.
For Birzebbuga, this was the third successive draw and the fourth positive result from the last four matches. Mosta, on the other hand, earned a point after a heavy 0-5 defeat to Zabbar St. Patrick. The Blues now join Birkirkara on 15 points with the Saints moving on the seven-point mark.
Throughout the ninety minutes, Birzebbuga created the better chances, going closest towards the end of the first half with an Alex Bruno effort from outside the area hitting the crossbar.
