Both teams share the sixth place with seven points from five matches. Qormi defeated Vittoriosa and Tarxien, lost to Hamrun and Valletta and drew with Sliema last week. Floriana, on the other hand, beat Birkirkara and Hamrun, lost to Hibs and Marsaxlokk, before being held in a goalless draw by Vittoriosa last Saturday.
With a win for either side, the winner would join Hamrun Spartans in second place on ten points, one behind leaders Valletta, who however will have a game in hand.
