In Section A, Siggiewi defeated Swieqi United 3-1 to move to two points behind leaders St. Venera Lightnings who however have a game in hand. Attard defeated Santa Lucia 4-0 while Mdina Knights beat Xghajra Tornados 2-0. In another match, Marsaskala registered their second win, beating Qrendi 2-0.
Gudja are third on 35 points, followed by Attard on 27, Mdina 26, Santa Lucia 23, Swieqi 19, Xghajra 11, Mtarfa 10, Marsaskala 9 and Qrendi 6.
In Section B, Kirkop United missed the opportunity to move second as they were held in a 2-2 draw by Sirens. Ghaxaq lost further ground following a 1-2 defeat to Fgura United. At the Gozo Stadium, Pembroke Athleta beat Gozo 3-0.
