Two wins from two matches for Melita in Powerade Summer Cup

Hosts Melita claimed maximum points from the first two matches in the Powerade Summer Cup. After defeating St. George’s 4-0 last Wednesday, they beat Gharghur with an identical 4-0 score on Sunday.

In another match on Wednesday, Naxxar Lions defeated neighbours Gharghur 6-1.

On the other hand, on Friday, St. George’s registered their first win as they beat Lija Athletic 4-2. The latter lost 0-3 to San Gwann in another match on Sunday.

On Wednesday, St. George’s take on Naxxar Lions at 19:30 while Melita host San Gwann at 21:30.
