Xewkija Tigers win Independence Cup

Xewkija Tigers won the first honour of the season in Gozo as they claimed the Independence Cup thanks to a 2-1 win over Victoria Hotspurs on Wednesday.

John Camilleri was the hero for the Tigers with two goals.

Meanwhile Kercem Ajax won the Second Division Knock-Out final after beating Munxar Falcons 2-0.
