On Monday 24th October a group of Maltese coaches and administrators left Malta for Coverciano, Italy, where a UEFA Study Group on Women’s Football was organised on the lines of a seminar.
During the seminar the Maltese had the opportunity to meet delegates from Italy, Azerbaijan and Ireland.
The main speakers were Renzo Ulivieri, current chairman of the Italian Football Managers Association and ex-coach of several Serie A teams, Vanni Sartini, Italian FA Development Officer and Milena Bertolini, UEFA PRO Licence Coach.
The seminar started by a presentation of the participants from Malta, Azerbaijan and Ireland who dealt with what is being done in the respective countries in this sector of developing women’s football.
The event was the initiative of the MFA Technical Centre who is working assiduously to provide our adminstrators and technical personnel in the women’s sector with ample information and wider horizons in the world of women’s football.
