In a short speech, Clyde Puli said this football ground was one of thirty-three football grounds which were upgraded by the government in partnership with the Malta Football Association. The Parliamentary Secretary said this complex will continue to improve the potential of the Qormi FC players and the children attending the club’s nursery.
MFA President Norman Darmanin Demajo said Qormi FC were not only investing in facilities but also in its young players with the set-up of an academy.
Qormi president Redino Apap spoke about the facilities the club will have at its disposal in this complex, including the football ground with an artificial turf pitch, a club house for the nursery, administrative offices for the club and the supporters’ club, a stand for supporters, a clinic, showers and changing rooms.
