The organisers were quite disappointed by this outcome of participants since the Senglea Nursery did its very best to promote this event to all nurseries and on the media.
During a press conference, Senglea Nursery President Stephen Spiteri thanked all the teams who took part and said that even though the Senglea Nursery is such a small nursery, which needs funds itself to continue operating, since it doesn’t even have a sponsorship, it always strives in helping other organizations.
Spiteri stressed out that this was the second tournament that Senglea Nursery organised this year. The first one was in aid of the C.S.A.F., an organisation which takes care of stray cats. He explained that tournaments of this kind are done to promote an awareness of how important and beneficial it is to help others who are in need.
This was the fourth consecutive edition of the tournament in aid of the Hospice. This noble deed was truly praised by the Hospice Movement and this nursery was given a certificate as a token for such an act of solidarity.
Senglea Nursery would like to thank all those who participated in this tournament and managed to make this event a success.
