Tournament in aid of the Hospice Movement organised by Senglea nursery

Senglea Nursery, for the second consecutive year, will be organising a one-day Football Festival in aid of the Hospice Movement. This tournament will be named DYLAN BUGEJA TOURNAMENT, after Dylan, a youngster forming part of Senglea Nursery, who died last year. All the money collected during this tournament will be devolved towards the Hospice Movement.

During a news conference which was held at Senglea Nursery’s Centre on Monday, Dr. Vincent Zammit, Chairman of the Hospice Movement, explained that the Hospice Movement offers care for all terminal patients of lung, kidney and heart diseases and cancer.

Senglea Nursery President, Mr. Stephen Spiteri explained how this football tournament will be carried out stressing the importance of helping people in need and promoting in younger children the love of helping others.

On Sunday 21st March, nurseries will be participating in a 5 a-side tournament at the Tal-Ponta synthetic pitch at Senglea. This tournament is open for Under-8, Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 teams. A fee of €30 per team will be donated to the Hospice Movement.

Participating teams will be based on a first come first served basis and the closing date will be Monday, 15th March.
