Teuma, also a member of the Women’s National Football Team under the helm of Pierre Brincat, topped the chart as a result of her impressive displays in the BOV Women’s Division One matches against Pembroke and Ħamrun Spartans last month.
She scored all three goals in the 3-1 win over Pembroke and was also on target with a brace in the 4-0 victory against Ħamrun.
Her incisive running and opportunistic scoring skills will certainly be needed if the Gozitans, currently sitting in fourth position, want to challenge the league’s pace-setting trio of Mosta, Birkirkara and Hibernians.
