At the Centenary Stadium, penalties were necessary to determine the winner in the clash between Mosta and Hibernians as the result at the end of the ninety minutes and extra-time was 1-1.

This quarter-final was a balanced encounter with few shots at goal during the first half. Mosta showed better ideas after the break, taking the lead through Rachel Nolan. However fifteen minutes from time, Ylenia Carabott converted a penalty to level matters.

With the score 1-1, the game went into extra-time but still, no team forged ahead and therefore penalties had to decide the issue. Both sides scored the first four but then Dionne Tonna missed for Hibs and Rebecca D’Agostino scored to put Mosta in the semi-finals.
