Floriana striker Amadou Samb was handed a six-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the incident in which the Senegalese striker hit Valletta defender Ian Azzopardi in the derby on Sunday.
Samb is therefore ruled out for the rest of the season, starting with the clash with Hibernians on Saturday.
