All matches will be played in the National Beach Soccer Arena at Malcom Park in Nassau.
Sixteen nations in the four-group stage will play the qualifying stage, with the first two teams in each group playing the quarter finals, followed by the semi-final phase, with the losers playing-off for 3rd place while the winners contest the final match when the champion is declared.
This year will be a first for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup: the Bahamas will be hosting the 2017 World Cup, and it will be the first time ever that the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup will be in the CONCACAF region. This Caribbean island has pristine sands, and a rich culture to go along with friendly and excitable citizens who, of course, are aficionados of the sport.
