MFA Protests Board turns down Hibernians protest

The Malta FA Protests Board has turned down the protest filed by Hibernians in relation to their BOV Premier League first-round match against Naxxar Lions, played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on 29th September, 2017.

Hibernians requested that the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, be replayed on the basis that a technical error had been committed but, at a sitting held on Monday, 9th October, 2017, the MFA Protests Board rejected their claim.

The result of the match is to stand.
