Birkirkara and Naxxar Lions announced that they had suspended all training sessions after they both had a player testing positive for Covid-19.
Earlier this week, Balzan had three confirmed cases while Tarxien Rainbows and Sta. Venera Lightnings had a player each.
As regards Balzan, all the first team players and technical staff did the swab test and the rest of the players and technical staff were negative.
Meanwhile a number of clubs and nurseries have announced that they have suspended their training sessions or called off friendly matches due to the current situation.
