Zejtun hold Balzan in goalless draw

Zejtun Corinthians earned another precious point as they held Balzan in a goalless draw at the Centenary Stadium on Tuesday. 

Balzan move fourth on 8 points, four behind leaders Hamrun while Zejtun stay two points behind on six.

Mark Miller’s side could have taken the lead on 28 minutes but Steve Pisani’s direct freekick hit the upright.

Both sides ended in ten men as Marcelo Pereira Muniz was sent off for Zejtun ten minutes from time and Moussa Kamara was sent off on the 90th. Both players had received a second yellow card.
