Tarxien Rainbows FC secured the services of Brazilian thirty one year old winger Érico Francisco de Oliveira Júnior.
A product of Sport Recife, Erico Junior played for Paysandu before a spell with Mafra in Portugal. He had a spell on loan with CRB in Brazil before returning to Portugal to join Deportivo Aves. He went on to play for Treze and Itumbiara in Brazil and then moved back to Portugal to play for AD Oliveirense, Moura and CO Montijo. Later, he returned to Brazil, playing for River AC, Aimore, Barra, Juazeirense, Portuguesa, Jaragua, Nacional, CS Esportiva, Fluminense, Aguia de maraba and Gloria.
Tarxien, who have confirmed coach Jacques Scerri, had earlier signed goalkeepers Andrea Cassar and Miguel Spiteri, Marcus Grima, William James England, Andreas Vella, Luke Anthony Borg, Kyle Gatt, Jonata, Bruno da Cruz, Kwasi Donsu and Johan Castano and confirmed Matthew Tabone, Miguel D’Alessandro, Sheldon Mizzi and Claudio Murici.
