A goal by Daniel Osvaldo six minutes in the second half handed Mosta a narrow win over Gzira United in the final of the Mosta FC Gammari Muscat Pre-Season Tournament at the Charles Abela Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues had won Group A, ahead of the Maroons, and went on to defeat Zabbar St. Patrick 1-0 in the semi-finals. On the other hand, the Maroons had defeated Group B winners Sliema Wanderers 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
