The Malta National Teams are gearing up for another busy international window, with key fixtures taking place over the coming weeks.
Malta National ‘A’ Team
The Malta National ‘A’ Team will be facing Lithuania at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas, Lithuania, on 4th September 2025, as they continue their 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifying campaign in Group G. Kick-off is at 18:00hrs CET.
The team, led by Coach Emilio De Leo, drew 0-0 against Lithuania in the return fixture at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali last June.
Following the away match, the National Team will also be taking on San Marino in an International Friendly on 9th September 2025, continuing its preparation ahead of the following international window in October.
Tickets for the match, which will kick-off at 21:00hrs, will be available from Friday 22nd August 2025.

Malta Under-21 National Team
The Malta Under-21 National Team, under the guidance of Coach Davide Mazzotta, will be kickstarting its 2027 UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifying campaign in Group 6 this September with a key match against Greece.
The match, taking place at the Centenary Stadium on 9th September 2025, will kick-off at 19:00hrs.
This will be the first qualifying campaign that that team will be led by Coach Mazzotta, with Group 6 also containing Northern Ireland, Georgia, Germany and Latvia, aside from Malta and Greece. It will represent an opportunity for the young team to show its qualities on the international stage against tough opposition.
Ticket sales for the crucial encounter will be available from Friday 22nd August 2025.
