Malta National Team head coach Emilio De Leo will be without a number of players for the friendly match against San Marino, to be played on Tuesday, 9th September, at the National Stadium at 21:00.
Following medical analysis, upon the national team’s return to Malta just hours after the qualifying match against Lithuania, it was decided that Jake Brimmer and Jodi Jones would return to their respective clubs. Ryan Camenzuli was also excluded from the squad in order to undergo recovery. Meanwhile, Matthew Guillaumier, who missed the last match due to suspension, is expected to return to the squad.
Coach De Leo also decided to send Jake Azzopardi and Keyon Ewurum to the Under-21 squad for the UEFA European Championship Group F match against Greece, to be played in Malta on Tuesday, 9th September, at the Centenary Stadium at 19:00.
