Manuela Tesse names provisional squad ahead of Belarus friendlies

The Malta Women’s National Team, led by Head Coach Manuela Tesse, has announced the provisional squad ahead of two international friendly matches against Belarus as part of the team’s ongoing preparations for next year’s European Qualification campaign.

The matches will take place at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali, on Friday, 25 October 2025, kick-off 19:30 and Tuesday, 28 October 2025, kick-off 19:00.  Both fixtures will be broadcast live on TVM Sport+.

These friendlies mark another important step in Malta’s build-up to the 2026 European Qualification matches, where the national team will once again be competing in League B after achieving promotion earlier this year.

The draw for the upcoming qualification campaign will take place this November, and these matches will provide a valuable opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate players and fine-tune tactical approaches ahead of the new competition cycle.

Head Coach Manuela Tesse has selected a balanced squad combining experience and youth, ensuring continuity from the group that secured promotion earlier this year.  The upcoming fixtures will serve as a platform to strengthen team synergy, assess player readiness, and continue building momentum ahead of the European campaign.
