Hibernians moved third in the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round league phase as they defeated Zabbar St. Patrick 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
The Paolites, in fact, move to just one point behind joint-leaders Floriana and Gzira United and one ahead of Valletta and Hamrun Spartans. Zabbar, on the other hand, continue to chase their first points along with Mosta and Tarxien Rainbows as they share the bottom of the table without any points after four matches
Cleiton put the Paolites ahead on 27 minutes and nine minutes Mailson Lima converted a penalty to double the score. Pedro Cejas pulled one back for St. Patrick on 71 minutes.
