Hibernians came back from a goal down to beat Zabbar St. Patrick 2-1 in a match from the 360Sports Malta Premier Opening Round at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.
The Paolites therefore returned to winning ways after collecting just two points from the previous three matches to join Sliema Wanderers and Hamrun Spartans in third place but the Wanderers have a game in hand. Zabbar, on the other hand, remain joint-second from bottom with Naxxar Lions and Melita
The Saints managed to take the lead, four minutes in added time, just before the end of the first half thanks to Vinícius de Paiva whose low shot from inside the area beat goalkeeper Pablo Sanchez.
Hibernians equalised on 70 minutes when off a cross by Silas Alfred Hamanojda from the right, Jurgen Degabriele slotted the ball past goalkeeper Luca Camilleri.
Ten minutes later, the Paolites notched the winner thanks to a close-range header by substitute Federico Falcone.
