After collecting just one point from the previous three matches, Sliema Wanderers returned to winning ways as they defeated Mosta 1-0 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round league phase at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
A win which lifts the Wanderers to the eighth place, one behind Valletta and two behind Birkirkara, leaving Mosta at the bottom of the table without any points after five matches together with Zabbar St. Patrick.
Gustavo Alcino scored the all-important goal on the 23rd minute.
