Attard secured promotion to the Challenge League as they defeated San Gwann 2-0 in a match from the BOV Amateur League I at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.
Nicholas Schembri handed Attard the lead on 34 minutes and Precious Uchechukwu Nwankwo doubled the score two minutes in added time.
Mellieha came from behind to beat Zejtun Corinthians 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium. Stefi Cale converted a penalty on 38 minutes but Sean Schranz equalised on 65 minutes and Jhanluis Hernandez notched the winner eight minutes from time.
In another match at the Sirens Stadium, Senglea Athletic defeated Lija Athletic 2-1. Rudy Cassar put Senglea head on 23 minutes and although Wagner equalised on 72 minutes, Johan Alberto Castano made it 2-1 for Senglea on 77 minutes.
Attard lead the way with 56 points, followed by Victoria on 51, Mqabba 44, Qormi 43, Lija 40, San Gwann 30, Qrendi 29, Mellieha 27, Senglea 25, Kirkop 24, Senglea 22, Zejtun, Luqa and Xghajra 21.
