The Malta FA Protests Board, convened yesterday to hear submissions from both clubs concerning the formal protest from Marsaxlokk FC concerning the decisive YoHealth Premier League match played on 16th May 2026 between Floriana FC and Marsaxlokk FC. Representatives of both clubs were present and made their respective representations before the Board.
Following its deliberations, the Protests Board has decided that the protest lodged by Marsaxlokk FC is rejected and consequently, the 2-1 result in favour of Floriana FC stands.
The Board’s decision is effective immediately and has been communicated to all parties concerned.
