Champions Hibernians will be facing Birkirkara on match day 1 of the Assikura Women’s Youth League 2026/27. Valetta will be facing one of the new teams – Mgarr Siggiewi while the other new team Zabbar St. Patrick will be meeting San Gwann.
The draws were held by Stewart Said – Manager Football Operations at the Malta FA and Alexandra Gatt.
The league will be played once again over four rounds and should kick-off in mid-September.
Players who are at least sixteen years old by the end of the calendar year when the match is played and has not attained eighteen years of age before January 1, 2026 are eligible. Clubs may also include on the Official Match Report Form not more than three players who attain nineteen years of age during the year in which the season commence, subject that such player/s has/have not played more than forty-five minutes during the preceeding match with the Women Senior Team.
