Champions Kercem Ajax started season 2026/27 on a high as they won the BOV GFA Super Cup after defeating Xewkija Tigers 4-1 at the Gozo Stadium on Saturday.
Gabriel Vella put Kercem ahead on the half-hour and Patrick Tiengo doubled the score on 65 minutes. Xewkija pulled one back thanks to David Rajchenberg three minutes from time but goals by Isaias Cruz on 89 and 90 minutes sealed the issue for Danijel Bogdanovic’s side
