Mgarr United were promoted to Division 2 after beating Ghaxaq 2-1 on Thursday. A win thanks to which Mgarr move seven points clear on top the BOV Third Division League Section A table.
Ghaxaq are now third as Mdina Knights defeated Kalkara 2-1 to take second place.
